The Turkish & Mediterranean flare at Tulip (more Turkish than not) was a nice change of pace from the standard evening out in Milwaukee, but the atmosphere and service didn’t make up for the quality of food.

What We Had 3 of 10
The food at Tulip overall consists of Lamb. Being a vegetarian here would not be easy. Your choices . . . spaghetti. Since I don’t really care for Lamb, this made my evening a bit more difficult. So I opted for the Chicken Shish kabob. It was mediocre. Definitely not reason enough to go back.

Atmosphere 6 of 10
The granite counter tops and cream city bricks made the atmosphere here quite nice.

Others 8 of 10
Our waitress was very nice. Being the only woman at this business dinner, she paid special attention to me, and took my order first, which made my night a little better. She also was attentive to the fact that we were very engrossed in our business discussions, and didn’t push us to move along. Of course . . . the place wasn’t struggling for empty tables.

Hours: M-Th 5pm-10pm; F-S 5pm-11pm; Lunch M-F 11am-2pm
