Wow, have we ever had a wonderful couple of weeks with regard to gourmet dining. This is a little dive is a BYOB Argentinian Steak House in the heart of Wriglyville. The only reason we reviewed this at less then a perfect ten was the 2 hour wait. However they did take our cell phone number so we could walk around the neighborhood.

What We Had 10 of 10
Steak of course. Everything is a la carte here, but comes with the standard bread and house salad. The steak is amazing. I had sirloin, and Cathy had a cheese and spinach stuffed steak. Medium Rare is definitely rare. This was just the best, thick steak I have had in a long time – and all for $15

Atmosphere 9.5 of 10
This is a real little place. There are paper table cloths with candle light. Argentinian music plays and the walls are painted very tastefully with a scene of a small village. It was dark and tight, and very sexy. This place would be perfect for a date, given its romantic atmosphere.

If you are on or near Southport in Chicago, you have to check this place out. I’d try to call ahead, but I’m not sure they will answer . . . too busy. Get a steak, and be ready to enjoy your evening.
