This is a great little Cuban restaurant in downtown Milwaukee. It has a wonderful old world feel with great, cheap food and a nice bar. The front of the cafe completely opens up onto the street, which makes for a nice breeze. Cubanitas is really a nice place if you want good food, a pleasant atmosphere, all reasonably priced.

What We Had 7 of 10
Mahi Mahi, Cuban style, and a Cubano Sandwich. All with fried plantains and Cuban guacamole and tostones as a desert. Very nice meal overall, served quickly. The tostones were a bit dry though, so we are going to get the sweet plantains next time.

Atmosphere 9 of 10
Cubanitas has captured the old world charm from Cuba, or at least what I would think it looks like in Havana. The over-sized chandeliers light the perfectly painted walls. They also have an under-light onyx bar.

Others
Not much is left to chance at Cubanitas. Parking is served on the street, if you like to walk, or valet is $5 next door. We say, you should go.
