Crazy Water is a wonderfully small restaurant in deep in Milwaukee’s Fifth Ward. It sits in an old renovated house, with the kitchen right in the room in the front window. They have a great seafood selection, with an accompanying wine list and deserts. The quality and service were bar none, and the atmosphere was done very well. We will be going back.

Seafood! Crazy Water seems to specialize in this style, so we had Shrimp and Scallops. As this was a celebration dinner, we also had the Goat Cheese and Tomato appetizer. The food was rich and filling, even though the portions we as small as the space. The lava cake desert was wonderfully presented as well, but you should order this in advance, as with any other lava cake. All in all, a wonderful dinner.

As before, Crazy Water is a very cozy little place . . . and the recommend reservations for the weekends. They have great tin ceilings and a quiet back room. The kitchen is in the dining room, right up by the front door, and seems small but they can definitely put out some great food.

Thursdays are half off bottles of wine nights. Parking on the street is a bit sketchy because of the neighborhood, but you should really just get over it.
