Overall Review 10 of 10
This is the best Mexican restaurant in Milwaukee . . . hands down. The food is perfect with a baja california flare, the atmosphere is warm and inviting in that latin way, the location is superb, and the price is right. Next time you want Mexican, skip La Fuente and head to Brady St for Cempazuchi!

What We Had 10 of 10
This is as authentic of a Southern California Mexican restaurant as I have ever found outside of the region. They have (and we had) Horchata, Carne Asada, Enchilada Suiza, Tacos al Gusto and on and on. It is served just the way I like it, meat – onions – tomato – cilantro – avocado, and at the right price. We will definitely be going back here.

Atmosphere 10 of 10
It really felt like I was back in Southern California in this place. Its warm and inviting, has plenty of comfy seating and a large window out onto busy Brady Street. I can foresee parking being an issue, but it wasn’t for us. The staff was also quite pleasant and eager to help – more then other places nearby, given the college crowd on Brady.

  1. That’s the place we almost went to years and years ago but then we went to a Chinese place on Brady instead.

You going to write about Bayou?

  3. Was this food made by real Mexicans?

  4. I dont know, they kept them all in the back. The servers were as white as yuo can get in Wisconsin, which is really saying something!

  5. Dan I have to add that the “Mexican” food is very Americanized, which makes it really good and different from 99% of the Mexican restaurants out there. If you like real Mexican food ran by real Mexicans you can go to La Fuentes or any other Mexican hole in the wall. The one thing that La Fuentes is better at is Margaritas!
