Overall Review 7 of 10
Botana is a a unique Mexican restaurant in Milwaukee’s Fifth Ward. It has atmosphere to the nth degree, quick service, consistent food, and is reasonably priced. If you are looking for a new Mexican food experience you should really give this place a try. It has received some great reviews recently too.
What We Had 7 of 10
This is really a standard Mexican food place for the area. Similar to La Fuente , La Perla, or Jalisco in style, you should feel comfortable ordering almost anything on their extensive menu. We had the usual – enchilada suiza, a steak burrito, and some tacos. All were good – the only for a lower review is my bias toward baja style Mexican food over traditional Mexican flare.
Atmosphere 10 of 10
If you are looking for a wild experience, this place helps you go over the top. They have decorated this place to the extreme, trying to make you feel a part of an ancient tribe. You can’t be in a bad mood at this place.
Others 10 of 10
Parking in the fifth ward can be difficult, but they have the answers. A private lot with a full time secutiry person – just like in Mexico!

I can’t read the review! It just wants me to comment, but what can I comment about if I can’t read it!!
Um…I will never go to this restaurant. It sounds awful.

Nice Job!
