Old Story-Same Problem Old Story-Same Problem

I can’t believe I never told you about this…

When Cathy and I got back from Italy, we moved the next day…remember? Well, I made sure that all of our very important, or fragile things were stored securely in my car instead of in the moving truck. Great idea Dan!

So, a week later, when I still hadn’t emptied out my car of our important stuff, I had to go to Chicago for a week, where I valeted my car at a downtown hotel (no name needed). When I picked my car up four days later, I noticed that some things from the glove box were now on the floor…BUT I didn’t think twice about it because what could possible have been in my glove box (besides gloves of course) that is important.

Ah…how about our passports and iPods! Needless to say, they were taken. We didn’t discover that they were missing until about four hours before Cathy was scheduled to leave for London for work…which she didn’t do, in fact couldn’t do because of the missing passports. I had a trip in a few weeks to Budapest, and so we both Rushed our passports through the agency in Miami via work. Crap…there’s another $700 theft from my car (on top of the radio once, the radio twice, and Cathy’s vandalism this has not been a great car year or so).

So, now the big question…I need to get a new portable music player for our big trip to Thailand in Dec. Do you have any suggestions as to what device I should get? The iPod, Zune, etc. even model? Is the iPod Touch worth it?

  1. Maybe you need a more theft proof vehicle?
