Gipsy Kings Gipsy Kings

What a great show that was. If you don’t have the Kings on CD or MP3 or whatever, let me know and I will make it available. This was a great show. When we got there at 7:30 I had only 1 ticket and two people. I went to will call to pick mine up and the guy in front of me got his, opened it and gave his second one back. I promptly stopped him and he gave it to me for free!!! A $40 value for just being in the right place at the right time.

Well, it started raining just before the show, and since our seats were on the lawn with everyone else, and we didn’t have jackets or umbrellas, we got wet. At Wolftrap you are allowed to bring alcohol and food to the lawn seats, as its a national park. We did. When the show started at 8 it was raining so hard we could hardly make out the stage, but the lightning lit it up well for us. There is just something about listening to Latin Jazz while dancing in the rain and drinking a beer. It was so much fun. We did this until 10 when they stopped playing, and the Mexican blanket I brought was brown from the mud and so were my pants and shirt. I loved it. I drove home in my skivvies, and got gas like that too.

I wish it would rain today.

My throat is sore today. I hope I don’t get sick. I want to go to Milwaukee this weekend really bad, and being sick is not good for that.
