Geno's Steaks

I was on a business trip the other day (Monday) that took me a couple of place I have never been.

I was very excited about this trip because I had just enough time to get down to Geno’s Steaks to try a true Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. Now, there is much debate about Geno’s (wiki) or Pat’s (wiki), but since I hadn’t ever had a Philly in Philly, I figured it was a coin toss – Geno’s it was. I’ve got to tell you, it really was a fantastic bite. It wasn’t the meat or onions, it was the bread. Soft, Long, with a bit of flour. Just wonderful, and easy to eat. I’ll have to try Pat’s another day to let you know my decision. The only downside, Cash Only and a Shady Neighborhood full of one way streets.
