All Sorts of Stuff With Pics

Well – I’ve got all sorts of stuff to show you today. Like Brian – I haven’t updated in a while with things of substance… So here you go:

Pentwater
This is CRAZY old news, but we went up to Pentwater this year, and had a good time…

Church
We recently finished (almost) construction of our new church building. I have being going up about once a month to do some work around the place. I built the stage with my buddy Matt one Saturday. Last Saturday I pulled silt fence from the perimeter of our land… It’s been a lot of work, but hopefully the Lord will use it in wonderful ways. The church is called – Vineyard Community Church – Grafton

Kohler State Park
Having lived in WI for three years now, Cathy and I decided that it was high time to expand our horizons beyond the metro Milwaukee area… so we took advantage of the fall foliage earlier this month and drove up to Kohler State Park . We had heard that it was a lot like the western MI coastline, and had even talked about sailing up there earlier in the year – but just had never gotten around to it. I sure am glad we did… the place was well worth the short drive it took to get there (shorter than my old daily one way commute!)

Mom’s Fall Visit
My mom had the opportunity to come out and see the leaves change, right at peak! No joke – the next week most of the leaves were already down… We went on a drive out in the countryside and ended up at Holy Hill which we had heard people talk about for a long time. this is a place you really ought to visit if you live in the area. Just real pleasant and beautiful. We walked through the woods, where they had the stations of the cross laid out, and just enjoyed God’s creation. On the way home we stopped and got caramel apples from a vendor on the road – mmmmm.

Halloween
We enjoyed the Spaanem’s annual pumpkin carving party again this year… It was great to see everyone, the progress on the house, and have a great time!

There are a few other odds and ends, but all in all that sums it up.
