187 Text Messages in 3 Days? 187 Text Messages in 3 Days?

As it happens, when our car got stolen, along with it went Cathy’s cell phone. We figured it out pretty quick, but it didn’t get fully deactivated for 3 days. During that time period, our perpetrator sent 187 text messages to someone at the same local phone number.

Great you may say, in jest or in fact. Actually, yes in some ways. AT&T said they will erase the bill for those charges, which is nice. When I asked for a copy of the text in those message, they kindly declined. I sent the bill to my police officer, who I hope will provide a warrant to AT&T for the text, in hopes that they reveal the thief’s admission to stealing the car. (Also, it would be funny to read/post the messages here)

Does anyone know how to send a bunch of text messages without a return number from the internet? I’ve got a phone number you can send them too…

  1. one txt every 23 minutes, that’s not so hard, other than the staying awake… There are a few services for sending txt messages to phones from the internet that I IM’d to you.

    You should call the number.

  2. I think its both funny and sad that you have your own police officer…the second one was much better than the first one even though he said some rude things
